Design Timekeeper Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Design Timekeeper app for mobile devices, together with related public information pages operated by ZALES, referred to in this policy as the Service Provider.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained or used for tracking by the Service Provider.

If you contact ZALES directly by email or through any public contact channel, the information you voluntarily provide is used only to respond to your request.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?

No. The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.

Do third parties see or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties by the Application.

Data Retention

Design Timekeeper does not collect or retain personal information on ZALES servers. The Service Provider does not maintain a server-side database of project names, timer durations, session type tags, favorite presets, elapsed time values, remaining time values, completion states, focus ratings, streak records, history logs, sound settings, vibration settings, notification preferences, daily reminder settings, or app settings.

If the app stores creative session records or timer preferences on your device, those records remain local to your device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise. ZALES does not receive, store, or back up that local app content.

If you voluntarily contact the Service Provider, the provided communication may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, handle support, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Data Deletion

Because Design Timekeeper does not collect or store personal information through normal app use, there is no server-side personal account or stored app profile to delete. Uninstalling the Application removes the Application from your device. Local app records, if any, can also be removed by clearing app data through your device settings or using any clear/reset option provided inside the app.

If you contacted ZALES directly and want any voluntarily provided communication deleted, contact support@zales.online. ZALES will process deletion requests where required by applicable law.

What are my opt-out rights?

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling it simply removes the Application from your device. You may also disable notifications, sound, vibration, or reminders in your device or app settings where available.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher age required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children's data is not collected by the app. If a child voluntarily provides personal information through other means, a parent or guardian may contact the Service Provider to request deletion.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure from normal app use is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. ZALES uses reasonable safeguards for systems and any information voluntarily provided through direct contact.

Data Breach Notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a breach affecting app personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided to ZALES, the Service Provider will notify you as required by applicable law.

Responsible-use notice

Design Timekeeper is a creative project timer, art session manager, design focus utility, sketch timer, painting timer, practice timer, warm-up preset tool, live progress ring timer, completion alert companion, creative history log, streak tracker, and focused studio productivity app. It is not a generic alarm clock, Pomodoro clone, productivity guarantee tool, employee time tracker, invoicing timer, payroll tool, timesheet app, project management SaaS, meditation timer, workout timer, school attendance tracker, professional billing software, or replacement for creative discipline, personal judgment, time management decisions, health advice, or professional productivity coaching.

Changes

ZALES may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting an updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Previous versions may be made available upon request.

Your Consent

If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Website and account access

The ZALES website and this Privacy Policy page are public information resources. They do not require user registration, login, accounts, protected pages, or authorization.
